A Mecca Bingo player will soon be feeling the heat of the Caribbean after winning a whopping £10,837.60 in the full house jackpot, just in time for his dream holiday.

Brian Lindsay scooped the cash in the final game of the night whilst playing with his brother and sister recently.

Cruise fanatic Brian had just booked his first ever Caribbean cruise the week before his good luck, and now with the extra money has been able to invite his son along with him.

The fortuitous train steward, a member of the Drumchapel club since it opened in 1995, is no stranger to lady luck, having won several times before.

His past glories have included scooping £5,500 on his 60th birthday during a session of the National Game against hundreds of other players across the country.

Brian said: “I couldn’t believe it when my numbers came up in the final game of the night! I play several times a week and it was great to be able to share the celebration with my family.

“I’m over the moon that I’m able to treat my son and take him on holiday with us, especially as he had said previously that he would have loved to be able to come.

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to the team at Drumchapel for making this win happen!”

Duncan Anderson, club manager at Mecca Bingo Drumchapel, added: We are always thrilled to celebrate with our winners, especially for a regular player like Brian.

“We hope he has a fantastic holiday and can’t wait to hear all about it!”

To attend a Mecca Club or play online you do need to be aged 18 years or over and be a customer of Mecca Bingo.
