Jolly Roger 2 is the 5×3 video slot sequel to 2012’s Jolly Roger title. The game is a swashbuckling adventure slot with plenty of features to keep you on your toes.
The in-game symbols are represented by pirate treasure; fine jewellery, a diamond, a golden cross and a precious ring. The remaining symbols are the ten through ace card values.
Of course, your Wild symbol is the Jolly Roger skull and crossbones, and it will substitute for any other pay symbol to help you create wins on the grid’s twenty paylines.
The fearless Red Roger himself is your Scatter symbol, it lands on reels 1, 3 and 5 and will launch some of the game’s special features; let’s look at them!

Bonus Quest
Landing three Red Roger symbols on the grid will trigger the Bonus Quest mini-feature.
Once triggered, Red Roger will invite you to take part in one of his unique quests, which you can choose! All you have to do is pick from Roger’s treasure scrolls and, once you find three matching scrolls, that’s your quest!
There are four different quests to choose from, which will you choose?
Bottle of Rum
Pick from five bottles of rum and, if you pick a good bottle, it will unleash a stack of Wilds onto a reel, and you can pick again. But, if you pick a poisonous bottle, then you’re out!
Freebooter Spins
Battle against the armadas of England, Portugal and the Netherlands or pillage a merchant ship to plunder yourself even more booty!
You start with three lives, and your opponent is randomly selected. Whether you win or lose your battle determines what happens on the reels.
If you go up against the merchant ship, you automatically win, but for any of the armadas, you’ll have to go into battle!
Your battle will take place on a special 3×3 grid, and each will be a best of three contest between you and the armada, the side with the most symbols on the grid will win the battle.
If the armada wins you will lose a life but, if you win a battle you can gain one of your three lives back!
Whenever you go up against a merchant ship or win against an armada, one of your reels will be randomly stacked with Wilds for your spin.
If one of the armadas win the battle you’ll get the following:
British Armada: All HP symbols will be upgraded to the highest symbol.
Portuguese Armada: Will select one or two symbols and turn all instances of them on the grid into Wilds.
Dutch Armada: Synchronises three reels with identical symbols.
This feature will continue until you lose all three lives.
Treasure Map Hunt
If you reveal three Treasure Map symbols, then you’ll activate the Treasure Map Hunt, a free spin feature which will lead you across the seven seas in the hunt for your fortune.
You will be awarded an initial ten free spins and, during these spins, you’ll have to collect four pieces of Red Roger’s treasure map to find out where the treasure is buried.
Once your map is complete, it will take you to a location of buried treasure, a modifier that will be applied to the rest of your free spins. This can be either the Sea Compass multiplier wheel or a symbol upgrade
Each tie you complete a map it will also award you more free spins; the first six times will award two additional spins, and then on the seventh time, it will award five extra spins.
