In a saturated iGaming environment, Pin Projekt has announced the launch of its “revolutionary” new live bet-on-lottery product.

Combining live casino and event betting, users on the new service, known as Lotto Instant Win (LiW), will have to ability to bet on the outcome of a variety of lottery draws broadcast continuously and 24/7.

LiW offers in excess of 2,000 live draws each day, occuring every 1, 3, 7 and 10 minutes subject to certain factors, across desktop, mobile, retail and betting terminals.

Zdenko Ninkovic, chief sales officer at Pin Projekt, has been speaking to about this new offering, and the potential benefits it can bring.

Totally Gaming: What was the thinking behind the new offering?

Zdenko Ninkovic: We identified a gap in the market for a live lottery proposition available around the clock, similar to the live dealer games that you will find with online casinos, which is why we launched Lotto instant Win (LiW).

Plus, there’s a growing trend in the market with consumers enjoying bet-on- lottery products that allow them to place money on the outcome of state draws.

Despite this growth in popularity, some jurisdictions are moving to ban betting on certain state lottery draws as there’s concern from state operators that they are losing funds.

Our solution overcomes this, as operators who own a license to operate sportsbook, casino or lottery games can integrate our live streams and bet on lottery draws broadcasted from our studios and not run by the state.

We firmly believe that LiW is the future of online lottery games. It incorporates the best of event betting and live casino to bring a solution never before seen in the online lottery sector.

Players can bet on the outcome of 17 different lottery draws broadcast live and 24/7 from our four certificated studios. Draws occur frequently, every 1, 3, 7 and 10 minutes depending on the studio and how many balls are in the drum.

TG: How essential is it to debut products such as this, to stand out in a busy and competitive market place?

ZN: The saturated iGaming market means it is becoming increasingly difficult for new entrants to make a name for themselves. In order to stand out, you need a USP which really appeals to operators and their end users.

We conducted a lot of market research and soon realised there was an opportunity to develop something that was truly unique to the lottery industry.

We’ve put a lot of time and effort to deliver a high-quality service that will be appealing to players, using state-of- the-art video and audio technology as well as HD streams to really enhance the user experience.

TG: How do you propose to adapt and enhance the offering moving forward?

ZN: As technology continues to evolve at a rapid pace, we’ll respond to those changes by adapting our own solution with improved streams. It’s imperative that live dealer games do not suffer from any buffering that can impact the player experience, and we’ll always work hard to ensure that our streams are consistent for all our players.

We have plans to expand our product offering too, so far we have 17 different games from four studios, but there is certainly an option for us to introduce new concepts as we build up our customer base.

We are already in the process of developing some attractive new games with multiple jackpots for 2018, which are likely to be very interesting for state lotteries due to the possibility of big winnings available for players.

The future of lottery has arrived – live games available 24/7 – and we’re excited to see what the next generation of live games has to bring.
